This is the place to be. Great customer service, amazing curators, clean museums, and amazing artifacts on display. Indeed, it was an amazing journey taking a stroll down memory lane; appreciating our diverse and unique culture and heritage. Take a day, and visit. Wear comfy footwear, stay hydrated, and go with a clean slate willing to learn and appreciate our history 😀

The NHMJ does much with little. As a Government entity it does not have huge resources, but it always strives to remain relevant. I saw an exhibit of entries from students in the Earth Day competition, which was quite impressive. I also got a "sneak peek" at the new Gallery, which is quite a work of art - depicting Jamaica's several varied landscapes and biodiversity. Oh, and entrance is free.

This place plays an integral part in preserving Jamaica's heritage. It is well worth the visit if you have time to browse. It's also great for research.

A good mix of the natural heritage displays. Great place to take our child to improve connection with nature.
