First and foremost, I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Fuller for warmly hosting my friends and me during our very first weekend camping escapade.
It's important to emphasize my deep affection for Katawud Village, where the environment is meticulously maintained, and a range of features come together seamlessly.
On the premises, Miss Michelle expertly oversees the restaurant and bar, and I can't go without mentioning the delightful beef soup with its enticing aroma and essence that we had on arrival.
From start to finish, Miss Michelle and her family, including a young gentleman who warmly socialized with us, made us feel as welcome as family members. đŸ˜… Although the names might be a bit fuzzy for now, it's worth highlighting that the campsite and restaurant are conveniently situated right next to the river. I shouldn't overlook the fact that the restroom facilities were of amazing quality.
Our stay was marked by restful sleep, karaoke sessions, dart games, movie nights, engaging discussions about the maroon culture, spontaneous dancing, and an overall sense of liberation and tranquility. These moments were truly something to savor.
Excitingly, we're already in the midst of planning another trip for the end of the upcoming month. The rarity of this kind of peace makes it all the more valuable—once found, it's not something to let go of easily.
To the entire Katawud team, I extend my heartfelt appreciation once more. Looking forward to our next visit—until then!

Our Camping group from Kingston stayed for a Birthday-one night sleep over. Eventhough it rained all weekend, we had lots of fun.
The Host (Michelle)was amazing, ensured we had everything to our comfort. Definitely going back to the location with the much larger group.

LITERALLY THE BEST TRIP EVER.
Miss Mitchell cooked the best red peas soup. The river is just a few steps away and it is beautiful....For a camp site, the place is extremely clean, I strongly recommend and I'll definitely go back...we had a blast. My favorite part was karaoke night đŸ¥°
