If you’re vegan—or simply into natural, wholesome food—this spot in MoBay is a must-visit! A quick note: Google Maps may lead you through the taxi stop area, which almost had us going down a one-way, so don’t get discouraged if it takes a few extra minutes to find. Trust me, it’s worth it.
What makes this place special is that everything is natural—nothing synthetic at all. Even the ‘tofu’ is made from chickpeas! There was a great range of savoury dishes and desserts. I tried the carrot cake which wasn’t sweet to me at all, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing—just something to keep in mind depending on how much sugar you like.
Now, the mac and cheese… I understand why it’s the signature dish. Honestly, it’s the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had—even compared to when I wasn’t vegan. My only regret is not ordering more!
The space itself seats about six people, with a fan to keep you comfortable, and the owner is absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and very professional. Payment by card or cash is available, which is convenient.
Highly recommend—thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Also free WiFi!

I visited in June during a summer trip, and it was honestly one of the best vegan food spots I’ve ever experienced after years of being plant-based.
I really struggled to find suitable plant-based options at my hotel and often had to rely on chefs making adjustments just so I could eat. So I decided to search for dedicated vegan places nearby in Montego Bay, and I’m so glad I found this gem.
I ordered double portions so I would have enough for the next day and wow, I’m glad I did I purposely ate this in slow motion. The food was absolutely mind-blowing. The mac and cheese in particular was outstanding and full of flavour. Every bite was comforting, rich, and perfectly cooked.
I enjoyed the food so much that I genuinely wished I could have packed it in my suitcase and brought it back to London with me. We’re really lacking good Jamaican plant-based options in London, so discovering this place was such a treat.
I will definitely be heading back the next time I am in Jamaica. A true highlight of my trip and a must-visit for any vegan looking for authentic, delicious food. There's only so much Burger King plan based whopper one can eat. I wish this place had a spot I could dine at in the hotel too. 10 out of 10!

First time in Montego Bay, I searched for vegan food nearby and A Vegan’s Utopia came up first. The reviews were accurate. It’s a small, slightly hidden spot that doesn’t draw much attention from the outside, but the experience inside was memorable. I wanted several items on the menu but chose the falafel wrap and a sorrel juice. The wrap was flavorful with tender falafel and very satisfying. I wished I had ordered two, especially after my meat eating friend, who did not order anything, tried a few bites and agreed it was delicious.
Andre clearly prepares his food with love and pride. He was friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about his craft, which added to the experience. In a place known for its meat dishes, Andre proves that vegan food can be full of flavor while still capturing the essence of locally loved dishes.

Food was real tasty 😋 lots of great options. As a tourist it was great finding a vegan spot in Montego bay. Only thing is I wish it were nearer to the hip strip. It was a little hard to find but more than worth the journey!
Will come back on my next trip!
Best cauliflower wings I've tasted and the carrot 🥕 and orange shake was so good. I finished it off with a chocolate slice which was like having a vegan snickers! Was so nice to be spoilt for choice.
Also Andre and the staff were super helpful and friendly ☺️🙏🏾

A Vegan's Utopia, certainly lives up to it's name. It was a jewel of a find for my sister and I when we were in Montego Bay. We liked it so much the first time that we went back 4 more times!! Every single thing we tried was absolutely delicious!! The first day we had some of the oreo cheesecake and it was to die for, so much so that we kept on pestering the staff each day to see if it was on the menu (thank you for saving us 2 slices on the last day we were there
